Tuscaloosa Community Innovation Business Plan Competition

Tuscaloosa Community Innovation Business Plan Competition

Friday, February 24, 2023

Last night I had the pleasure to present Curbside Commissary to a panel of judges representing the City of Tuscaloosa, West Alabama Chamber of Commerce, The University of Alabama faculty, Alabama SBDC Network, and other business leaders during the annual Tuscaloosa's 2023 Community Innovation Business Plan Competition organized by Alabama Entrepreneurship Institute / the Edge.

Thank you to the judges who gave their entire day to listen to all the different teams. Thank you for recognizing and awarding prizes to many innovative teams in the community, it is an honor to be listed among them.

I feel blessed for all the people who have mentored and supported not only myself but the team at Curbside Commissary. We look forward to some major announcements in the next few months as we move closer to the build-out of our first facility.

Personal shoutout to the following who helped to support Curbside Commissary and revived it after the pandemic:  Cecil Bostany, Joshua Watkins, Theresa M. Welbourne, Jim Page, Bobby Bragg, Barkley P. Garrett, Gavin, Hanson Watkins, Kera Parker, Ed McLain, Blake Parker, Liz Rayburn, and Curblogic
